Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist reporting to the IT Team Leader and CTO you will serve as the primary point of contact for all staff encountering software issues through phone email and IT ticketing system. Your main responsibilities include Level 1 Helpdesk support offering exceptional service and assistance in resolving cases as they arise.


Here s an overview of your future role:

Employment type: Fulltime
Shift: Day Shift Mondays to Fridays: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Work setup: Permanent WFH willing to go onsite if needed (Makati)

What do you need to succeed

  • A bachelors degree or equivalent with at least two years of college a twoyear associate degree or a Technical/Vocational course in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • A minimum of one year of substantial Helpdesk Support or Service Desk experience.
  • At least one year of solid Inbound Customer Service experience in the BPO industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning organization and prioritization abilities.
  • Effective problemsolving skills.
  • A firm grasp of policies and procedures.
  • Commitment and eagerness to learn.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in Helpdesk Support or Service Desk roles in an accounting or financial institution.
  • Familiarity with various technologies including:
  • Windows Server administration
  • Windows operating systems
  • Apple iOS operating systems
  • Active Directory
  • Office 365
  • Email clients (Microsoft Outlook)
  • AntiVirus Technologies
  • Basic knowledge of networking and Citrix.
  • IT certifications such as MTA MCP MCSA CCNA.
  • Experience with SharePoint online would be considered highly desirable but not essential.

  • Collecting information and conducting basic troubleshooting for new service requests.
  • Installing and repairing software products at an intermediate level.
  • Coordinating with team members and resolving faults.
  • Documenting responses to service calls.
  • Administering daily and routine maintenance checks.
  • Providing support for Windows desktops and laptops.
  • Assisting with Citrix connections general access and connectivity issues.
  • Addressing software application problems.
  • Handling basic user account and group administration.
  • Taking ownership of service tickets working on and tracking issues to resolution.
  • Recording detailed information in the Service Desk ticketing system.
  • Supporting mobile devices including iPhones and iPads.
  • Working with Intune modern device management and modern Office 365 apps.
