**Job Title: IT Support Specialist**

**Location: Doha Qatar**

**Job Description:**

Our client a leading organization based in Doha is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate should be an immediate joiner with a strong background in IT support and asset management. The role involves providing technical assistance and support to endusers while also managing IT assets efficiently. If you have a passion for resolving technical issues ensuring smooth IT operations and possess excellent communication skills we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Enduser Support:**
Provide firstlevel technical support to endusers via phone email and inperson.
Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network issues in a timely manner.
Assist users with ITrelated problems and provide stepbystep guidance.

2. **IT Asset Management:**
Maintain accurate records of IT assets including hardware and software inventory.
Track and manage the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies.

3. **Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:**
Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex problems.
Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.

4. **Software Installation and Configuration:**
Install configure and update software applications based on user requirements.
Ensure all software installations adhere to licensing agreements and organizational policies.

5. **Security and Compliance:**
Implement and enforce IT security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
Stay updated on security trends and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

6. **User Training:**
Conduct training sessions for endusers on IT best practices and effective use of technology.

7. **Collaboration and Communication:**
Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to improve overall IT efficiency.
Communicate effectively with endusers providing clear and concise instructions.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience in IT support and asset management.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and principles.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or equivalent will be a plus.
