Skillset: NetBackup Networker Arcserve Veeam s/w backup NetBackup appliance Data domain SAN and NAS storage VMware ESXi and vSphere UNIX and LINUX operating systems network protocols and file systems (LVM & VXVM).

Tasks

• Operational support for backup infrastructure and recommend system expansions
• Advice on new systems and technologies and their design deployment and implementation
• Analysis of backup and storage capacity and utilization trends
• Identification of areas for operational enhancement and improvement
• Troubleshooting issues and optimizing application performance.
• Administration of enterprise and midrange storage systems
• Managing SAN switches and disaster recovery coordination Disaster Recovery side changes
• Utilize ITIL service delivery skills

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Very good experience with NetBackup Networker Arcserve Veeam s/w backup NetBackup appliance Data domain
• Experience with implementation of Backup & Restore solutions preparation of DR plans
• Experience with support and change requests
• Knowledge of SAN and NAS storage VMware ESXi and vSphere UNIX and LINUX operating systems network protocols and file systems (LVM & VXVM) MS SQL MS Exchange and MS SharePoint administration
• Fluent English and one other European language
• EU passport or a Blue Card in Germany
