Two Contractors are required for the role of Associate Cybersecurity Analysts in Optums Security operations Center (SOC) team.
Responsibilities for the role are as listed below.
1. Monitor work queues for alerts of potential network threats intrusions and/or compromises.
2. Assess validity and scope to determine if the alert is actionable and determine remediation steps required.
Confirm accuracy of the alerting information.
Identify malicious behaviors.
Determine remediation actions needed.
3. Escalate incident to proper team for response and remediation.
4. Participate in specialized guild related activities and projects.
