IT Recruiter

Overview:

The IT Recruiter plays a critical role within our organization by identifying engaging and hiring top IT talent to meet the staffing needs. This position is essential in ensuring that we have a skilled and capable technical team to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand IT staffing needs.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top IT professionals.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels social media and professional networks.
  • Evaluate resumes and applications to prescreen candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates relevant knowledge skills soft skills and experience.
  • Coordinate technical interviews with the hiring team.
  • Prepare and present shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the offer process including negotiating salary and benefits.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven work experience as an IT Recruiter or similar role in the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical recruitment methods and best practices.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
  • Solid understanding of IT roles skills and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decisionmaking and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
  • Industry certification such as PHR SHRMCP or CIR is a plus.
