Description:
The Federal IT Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic and tactical projects that impact a specific application or suite of related applications. This role requires skilled execution of the following key tasks and project elements:
1) Overall project leadership for Unified Communications transition & installation
2) Management of the triple constraints of time cost and scope
3) Project planningmonitoring and control
4) Resource management
5)Stakeholder communication and coordination
6) Risk and issue management
7) Process management
8) Metrics management
9) Changecontrol.

The Lead Federal Project Manager (PM) is a key position in the Telecom Client Federal Program Management Organization. Candidate must have a strong telecom and IT background successful history of leading cross functional teams in the deployment of VPNS and Contact Center technologies understand Federal contracts and extensive experience dealing with government customers. They will have overall project management lifecycle responsibility for the project as well as responsibility for aligning the customers business strategy with the Telecom Client solution.

Responsibilities

Maintain proactive customer communication.
Lifecycle Management of Government Programs and supporting contracts (EIS Networx WITS Connection II Alliant 2 etc.)
Provide management of contract personnel and ensuring high quality and acceptable task completion and deliverables within their contract in compliance with the SOW.
Provide Program Management expertise in managing Service Level Agreements and other aspects of Telecom Client and the Client contractual agreement.
Provide weekly status reports to customers on the services including financials risks and risk mitigation issues and issue management.
Coordinate all client communications including weekly and monthly reporting crisis management and escalations.
Develop and maintain project plans and action item lists and conduct regular customer status meetings to keep projects and actions on track with dates and owners.
Schedule and lead effective team meetings which will include field and/ or corporate resources.
Successfully interact with other organizations within Telecom Client to deliver seamless implementations & service to Clients.
Serve as an escalation point 24/7 for production impacting incidents.
AdHoc report creation and distribution.
Coordinate change management activities by liaising with Clients Global Change Management and the Telecom Client Service Center.
Facilitate resolution of issues pertaining to contract billing AR credit requests and billing disputes.

Qualifications:
US Citizen
Cisco Certified Voice Professional Certification
57 years of Federal Project Management experience
57 years of Federal Transition and Implementation experience
Strong understanding of Project Management Methodology including the ability to create and monitor project plans and to drive and develop tasks associated with plan.
