Your role asIT Operations and Digital Systems Engineer
As a key player in our IT department youll be handson occasionally onsite applying your technical expertise leadership and communication skills to drive operational excellence. Youll tackle strategic IT challenges delve into problem root causes and elevate our system and operational administration. Your role is pivotal in enhancing our operational capacity boosting support levels and enabling continuous business growth.

In your role youll be the crucial connector between our Service Desk and IT team expertly handling complex support issues. Youll craft and refine solutions streamline our operational procedures and develop resources that enhance the support Knightec employees receive. Your involvement in hardware and software management will significantly elevate our support framework. Moreover partnering with System Administrators will offer you a prime opportunity to broaden your technical expertise through practical handson experience.

You will frequently be onsite and sometimes travel between offices to ensure robust support is provided across the board. Youll be tasked with clear and effective communication with stakeholders managing expectations in both Swedish and English and overseeing the administration of IT assets like software hardware and infrastructure. Collaborating with various teams including the Service Desk Office & Event Coordinators and Team Managers will be key to maintaining the quality of IT services. Additionally youll focus on documenting and enhancing IT processes policies and training materials.

What you need to bring

• Broad knowledge and troubleshooting of the most common Operating Systems (Windows/macOS/Android/iOS)
• Solid experience managing Microsoft 365 Enterprise infrastructure and administration services such as Exchange Teams IAM (Entra ID / Active Directory) MDM (Intune) and Videoconferencing (Microsoft Teams Rooms)
• Understanding and development of IT Security practices and measures
• Printer management including followme/secure print
• IT Project Vendor and SaaS Management
• ITSM/Service Desk tools (e.g. Zendesk/FreshWorks FreshService)

Nice to have:

• Scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash)
• Proficiency in Linux environment
• Experience with Power Automate
• Understanding network & endpoint security principals (Firewall Load Balancing Proxies Routing)
• Virtualisation (e.g. VMware & Containers)
