The Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager with a Security background for the Latin America team. You will be responsible for overseeing information technology and security systems ensuring they are uptodate and meet business needs. You will report to the Head of Finance for Latin America and manage/build a team of IT professionals being responsible for the budget. It is a management role that also includes being handson. Travel within Uruguay and abroad will be required so interested candidates must be available to travel occasionally. Your main tasks will be:

Strategy Formulation & Implementation

  • Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to identify technology needs and develop solutions.
  • Develop review and report on the operational strategy ensuring strategic objectives are well understood and executed.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget ensuring expenses are within budget and aligned with the companys financial goals.


Operations and Controls

  • Oversee the implementation maintenance and support of all technology infrastructure including hardware software and networks.
  • Manage and supervise the IT team.


Security

  • Develop and maintain security policies.
  • Obtain/maintain required certifications and compliance as applicable in each jurisdiction or BU requirement.
  • Assist business units with any data or security breaches and report to the appropriate governing bodies.
  • Investigate actual and suspected security incidents produce reports with recommendations and ensure corrective actions are taken.


Mergers and Acquisitions

  • Perform technical due diligence for potential business acquisitions.
  • Integrate the IT assets of these acquisitions into an agreedupon businessasusual group model.


Team

  • Foster a culture of learning research and evaluation of new technologies within the team.
  • Promote security awareness through the development and implementation of a training program.


Client

  • Ensure that the companys relationships with clients service providers and partners are healthy improve and are a primary focus internally.
  • Assist as needed to support project bids with information security requirements.
  • Coordinate the annual PCI DSS accreditation processes of relevant group companies.
  • Work with our key business stakeholders to implement and manage disaster recovery plans.


Requirements

  • Relevant degree information security qualification such as CISSP CISM or substantial work experience at a level that demonstrates postgraduate capability and security knowledge.
  • Experience in cloud computing network infrastructure cybersecurity and data management.
  • Experience in maintaining and implementing continuous improvements to a Network Infrastructure.
  • Experience in managing an IT budget with a strong understanding of financial principles and budget management.
  • Advancedlevel English mandatory
  • Good practical knowledge of Microsoftbased technologies.
  • Regulations and other related laws standards and codes of practice
  • Good practical knowledge of information risk analysis/management.
  • Practical knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard.
  • Familiarity with common cyber security attack methods.


Desirable

  • Experience with Knowb4 or equivalent.
  • ISO27001 certification or lead auditor
