IT Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Configure maintain and upgrade servers networks and related hardware/software.
• Manage asset records and perform daytoday IT infrastructure monitoring.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues.
• Implement change management controls and document changes.
• Respond to service requests and incidents for timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with service providers to ensure SLAs are met.
• Automate tasks using Bash/PowerShell scripting and languages like Python/Perl.
• Support IT infrastructure projects and handle adhoc duties.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
• Experienced applicants will be interview for Senior Role.
• Applicants with relevant intern experience welcome.

Good to have:

• Strong understanding of server and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of server hardware networking concepts protocols and security.
• Working knowledge in Linux Server OS Administration virtualization log management internet services and security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot IT problems using logs.
• CompTIA/LPIC certifications Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible/Chef/Puppet) DevOps/SRE experience and Load Balancers/HighAvailability deployment knowledge are advantageous.
