Overview:

The IT Helpdesk plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to internal users at all levels of the organization. This position ensures that all ITrelated issues are promptly resolved to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The IT Helpdesk is responsible for maintaining hardware and software installing updates and troubleshooting technical problems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all ITrelated issues
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide timely resolutions
  • Install configure and maintain hardware and software
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives
  • Train and support users on new technologies and applications
  • Monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Document and maintain records of IT assets and configurations
  • Participate in oncall support rotation as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware software and network issues
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy is preferred
  • Experience in maintaining and supporting mobile devices (Android iOS)
  • Understanding of basic IT security principles and practices
