IT Functional analyst

We are looking for an experienced analyst that can thrive in an Agile context.

At least 50% of the working time has to be done in on site

Chalenge:

The squad is running several Java applications used as middleware by other applications of the bank. By their nature these applications have high requirements in terms of responsivity availability and reliability.

The context of the application requires a good technical understanding of flux and processes interconnecting multiple data sources (linked with APIs) and a strong sense of abstraction to link and keep the value for the customer in the stories.

The squad is large and effectively putting collaboration and group work with the developers rather than phased interaction is critical.

To meet its objectives the squad committed to respect high quality standards in terms of development documentation and testing.

An agile team consists of a small group of people combining the required skills to design build and test valuable elements within a limited timeframe.

As a member of the agile team the DEV engineer applies several useful skills (analysis / design / development / testing / integration) which in combination with the skills of the other members of the team compose all required skills to deliver a product at the end of each sprint.

The DEV Engineer commits to help the team to deliver a product at the end of each sprint surpassing his/her own specific knowledge domain in order to collaborate with the team members. The focus is on the completion of the sprint backlog containing all elements that the team must deliver and of which the sequence has been determined by the Product Owner based on the added value for the (internal or external) client.

The DEV Engineer adheres to the scrum values (focused committed open respectful and courageous)and is able to closely collaborate with the team members. Knowledge sharing open communication continuous learning and commitment to deliver added value are key.

EXPERIENCE :

knowledge of common development languages used in the domain

excellent understanding of architecture (hardware OS networking databases middleware)

knowledge of methods standards and security procedures as well as development tools

Experiences with SQL scripting.

Proven experience and/or knowledge on Investment services and product. (component of service invest product on market rules and regulation attached ..)

Knowledge of agile methodology

PREFERABLE :

Banking experience with a preference on Invest markets.

Heavy regulated context with complex edge cases.

Creation of reports and communication to client.

Analytic background.
