Omnivision for a 6month contract Sr IT Engineer Tier 3 role. This will be fully on site in Santa Clara CA

The IT organization is looking for a Sr. IT engineer. You will be responsible for research design deploy and maintain Email services windows servers AD VDI and email related services. Once service deployed build standards and SOPs for IT daily support and Operation engineer to perform the best practice in support and operation. From time to time you may be rotate oncall shift to provide urgent support on holiday or off hour.

Responsibilities:

Provide Windows Systems Administration on Active Directory Exchange SharePoint Microsoft Project and other Microsoft application onpremises and on O365 Cloud.

Enterprise servers patching management and software deployment

Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware and software issues where applicable

Expert in design and manage Citrix VDI with migration experience in global scale

Migration experience of MS SharePoint in global scale

Provide technical assistance to the IT support engineer as an escalation resource

Build standard support procedures Operation SOP and provides troubleshooting guideline

Design and deploy the IT Microsoft infrastructure and services on Microsoft O365

Compares evaluates and implements new technologies and integrates them into the computing environment

Lead and manage IT projects in global scale

Troubleshooting major mail flow issue with spam gateway such as Proofpoint or equvilant

• They are looking for a Citrix person though its not heavily outlined in the job description everything else listed in secondary
• Healthcare organizations tend to have a similar Citrix environment so that is a good industry to recruit from (I.e. Planned Parenthood)
• Look for at least version 7 of Citrix
• Must have extensive Citrix experience within last 23 yrs
• Ideally needs NetScaler or Citrix ADC experience (this is one in the same product name has changed back and forth). Version isnt necessarily as important here. Could ask what series it was they should come back saying something like SDX MPX or VPX (model number not important most likely if they know one or more of those series names they have worked with the product)

Requirement:

1. Citrix is the MUST with script automation skill. Other like SharePoint Confluence other O365 apps is good to have managing experience.
2. Master of Citrix XenDesktop
3. Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and 2019 Operating systems
4. Active Directory (AD) & Domain Controller Administration including DNS and GPO management in a multisite environment
5. Building and administering Windows servers and accompanying infrastructure maintaining capacity and performance in enterprise environment
6. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Exchange SharePoint Project SQL etc on both onpreme and Microsoft O365
7. Manage/upgrade/migration experience to O365 Cloud
8. Strong knowledge of virtual environment hypervisor such as VMware Vcenter hyperV etc
9. Automation scripting such as Windows server Powershell MS Exchange Cmdlets
10. Understanding of NASSAN Storage Replication load balancing and LANWAN Technologies
11. Work with vendors and perform upgrade/installation related activities analysis and troubleshooting issues to provide resolution and execute on any new enhancement as required by business
12. Experience with Infrastructure virtual environment VDI Citrix ADC Load balancer Backup& Restore disaster recovery and business continuity
13. Experience and knowledge administering workflows and issue schemes in Jira Software and Confluence
14. Experience and ability to work in a fastpaced IT environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
