Job Title: IT Director

Location: Gary IN (with weekly visits to Hinsdale IL)

Job Type: Fulltime

The ideal candidate will be based in Gary IN and must be willing to travel to Hinsdale IL once a week.

Responsibilities:

ERP Systems Implementation:

Lead the implementation of ERP systems to streamline and enhance business processes.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful integration and user adoption.

Talent Management:

Develop and execute a strategic plan to hire juniorlevel IT professionals dedicated to resolving hardware and software issues at the plant level.

Provide mentorship and training to junior staff to ensure a high level of technical proficiency.

Industry Experience:

Leverage Metal Processing and Fabrications industry knowledge or any manufacturing background to understand the unique IT requirements and challenges within the sector.

Hardware and Software Management:

Oversee the management of hardware resources ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and systems.

Optimize data storage and processing efficiencies for enhanced operational performance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar leadership role.

Strong background in implementing ERP systems.

Previous experience in talent management and team development.

Knowledge of the Metal Processing and Fabrications industry or any manufacturing background is highly beneficial.

Expertise in managing hardware cybersecurity and data storage/processing.
