Would be great if they have the hands on DWH building in the past but does not need that day to day. Offshore development team.

SAP Analytics Do not need to have this if they have strong SAP BW background

SAP BW not in environment but have used BW in the past to translate to SAP Analytics *Data strategy working with the business ask questions

Soft skills: Ability to communicate clearly since they will be in front of the business (Important!!)

The IT Data Lead will support the Director of Information Technology and the site to drive the overall Data agenda at Client. Data is key to digital transformation and the IT Data Lead will play a key role in this transformation. The scope of the role includes growing our Data Warehouse capability and environment by adopting latest technology & process. The person will guide IT Developers in extracting data from various sources and developing Data Warehousing solutions. This role will help simplify and contextualize data sources with the goal of enabling selfservice reporting. This role will also help establish a local community at site to gain the most value from data by providing upskilling opportunities and a channel for crossdepartment sharing. The successful candidate must seek to understand the Refinery business its products & services and usually starts with what problem are you trying to solve. Commercial mindset will be key in this role.

Stakeholder Management:

• Leads business stakeholder engagements for data and reporting needs and with the DIY community (could range from junior staff to asset leadership).
• Actively participates in business and IT team discussions bringing in best practices to and from site.

Value Generation & Protection:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the companys business objectives.
• Deliver Data & Analytics knowledge sessions at Deer Park to educate staff on the data lifecycle how data is created used measured managed retired.
• Educate staff on how to gain more value from effective use of Data Visualisation and Analytics tools as well as highlighting existing data analytics and data quality solutions.
• Identify and address hurdles to access data.
• Participate and support the site data driven concept by advising guiding and supporting site developers to build optimal data warehouse solutions. Help define a Data strategy providing tool consultancy as well as education on publishing/IT processes and IRMcompliant data access.
• Deliver prototypes in support of Data & Analytics Ideation facilitate bringing together data sets from disparate sources cleaning merging and consolidating and expand current Data Warehouse capability to support predictive and perspective Analysis.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processes and capabilities.

Business Intelligence & Innovation:

• Bring in external ideas setup and manage an ecosystem for Digitalization for the Refinery and create purposeful partnerships that drive outcomes.
• Has solid understanding of the Refinery business and Oil and Gas landscape with regards to trends technology and industry standards.
• Delivers thought leadership and contributes to business decisions through strong relationships and business and IT understanding.
• Ensures that new technologies deployed are supported by thorough change management to make the business ready to adopt to the full potential.

Dimensions:

• Be a key member of the IT team at site.
• Will support the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager and IT Enterprise Digital Solutions Manager in implementing a Data strategy.
• Will be the single data coach for all users at site: 1200

Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in Design Develop and maintaining Enterprise Data and Data Analytics solution for large companies by consuming data from SAP and other Enterprise Applications
• Expertise in data governance data modelling and database management.
• Handson implementation experience in developing solution in Azure Synapse Azure DevOps and Power BI solutions
• Deep understanding of data platforms used in a Refinery or Oil & Gas industry.
• Deep functional understanding of refinery process applications and processes
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud ( SAC)
• Experience using SAP S/4 embedded Analytics
• Understanding of key data pain points in regular business experiences
• Proficiency in application development and data visualization proven experience with the PowerBI or equivalent tools
• Information Management knowledge
• Strong communication skills among IT and business stakeholders
• Experience working with offshore resources in developing required solutions
