Title: IT Customer Support

Location: Remote

Are you looking for an opportunity to showcase your technical skills while providing exceptional customer support Were seeking a Remote IT Customer Support Specialist to join our team. In this role youll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues ensuring our users receive prompt and effective assistance.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required. However candidates with an associates or bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field are preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or technical support is beneficial. Entrylevel candidates are welcome while senior roles may require several years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware software and network systems.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows macOS and Linux.
  • Experience troubleshooting common office productivity software like Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP DNS DHCP and wireless networking.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and support tools for remote assistance.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or JIRA for issue tracking and resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to users.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering highquality support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problemsolving skills to identify and implement effective solutions for technical issues.
  • Adaptability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • Patience and empathy when assisting users who may be unfamiliar with technical concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and escalate issues as needed for timely resolution.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A CompTIA Network or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are beneficial.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts including evenings weekends and holidays may be required for 24/7 support operations.
  • Candidates may need to undergo background checks or possess specific certifications based on jurisdiction and role requirements.
