Infrastructure Setup:
Spearhead the design and implementation of the IT infrastructure for the new office including networking servers and workstations.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient deployment of hardware and software.
Network Security:
Implement and manage robust firewall configurations to safeguard the organizations data and systems.
Monitor and respond to security incidents ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
Communication Systems:
Deploy and maintain an effective intercom system for seamless communication within the office.
Collaborate with telecommunications providers to optimize connectivity and ensure reliable communication channels.
Switching and Routing:
Configure and manage L2 and L3 switches to optimize network performance and ensure scalability.
Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
ISMS Processes:
Establish and maintain Information Security Management System (ISMS) processes to safeguard the organization against cyber threats.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary controls to mitigate potential security risks.
System Maintenance:
Perform regular system updates patches and upgrades to ensure all systems are running at peak efficiency.
Conduct routine system audits and implement improvements to enhance overall performance.
Documentation and Training:
Develop comprehensive documentation for IT systems processes and procedures.
Provide training and support to endusers on IT best practices and security awareness.
Vendor Management:
Engage with IT vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance the IT infrastructure.
Hardware Troubleshooting:
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues in laptops from major manufacturers including Apple Lenovo HP and Dell.
Experience with troubleshooting hardware components such as processors memory storage and peripherals.
Operating Systems:
Expertise in troubleshooting and providing technical support for both Windows and Ubuntu operating systems on laptops.
Ability to resolve softwarerelated issues install updates and optimize system performance.
Device Compatibility:
Indepth knowledge of ensuring compatibility between various laptop models and operating systems.
Familiarity with drivers and firmware updates to enhance device functionality.
Remote Support:
Proven experience in providing remote support for laptoprelated issues ensuring minimal disruption for remote or traveling employees.
Utilize remote assistance tools effectively to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Administrator or similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of networking protocols security frameworks and system administration.
- Strong expertise in configuring and managing firewalls L2/L3 switches and intercom systems.
- Experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA CCNP CISSP or equivalent.
- Azure / Cloud advanced routing experience is a plus.
