YEGO was born in 2016 when shared mobility as a light vehicle was still in an experimental phase with the mission to facilitate and rethink access to ecological and responsible micromobility in harmony with cities and their inhabitants offering an ecological and elegant shared motorbike service for everyone.

In 6 years we have already converted more than 10 million daily journeys into unique experiences in 8 European cities and metropolitan areas in Spain and France: Barcelona Valencia Seville Malaga Bordeaux Paris Toulouse and Nice. With a strategy of progressive development constant and controlled growth and a solid economic and financial model our company is today one of the most experienced in the European market. Innovation quality safety and attention to local needs are values anchored in YEGO since the launch of the service.

Since 2022 YEGO has been officially recognised in France as a socit mission i.e. a company with a purpose. Our raison dtre formalised in our statutes is to work for the provision of an urban electric transport service that is sustainable safe adapted to all publics and respectful of the environment and users. Mission

In the context of our activity and growth we are looking for an IoT Reliability and Innovation Engineer that ensures the fleet stays connected 24/7 and has the latest features. This person will be responsible to identify and improve possible technical issues help in the development of new features andimprove our service.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the connectivity: downtimes issues by specific cells/location and/or operators.
• Stay in constant contact with our different providers to quickly solve urgent issues
• Plan maintenance windows having the least impact on the service
• Plan retrofit campaigns (ex: network provider change new wiring 2G/3G sundown ...)
• Develop new features (item detection )
• Develop programs/tools to set up and diagnose the vehicles.
• Investigate potential issues establish a clear resolution plan using cause analysis tools and write an incident report understandable by nontechnical readers
• Followup with external providers for network telematics and vehicle components.
• Ensure the documentation stays up to date
• Communicate with the Operations and Customer Experience departments in case of global issues

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in embedded software.
• Communication knowledge :
  • networks (2G/3G/4G/M1)
  • modems (ublox/quectel)
  • automotive network : CAN
• Embedded systems knowledge:
  • microprocessors : STM / ESP / PIC
  • RTOS : FreeRTOS / Zephyr
• Basics knowledgeof motor control and battery management are appreciated
