Investment Researcher

The Role

As an Associate in the Manager Research team you will conduct research across managers located around the world. The team is responsible for facilitating better outcomes for our clients through a combination of great ideas continual innovation and ensuring that our best ideas get into many of our client portfolios working in collaboration with Portfolio Managers Retirement and Investment Consultants. You will also support other colleagues in the team.

The successful candidate will have sufficient analytical skills to support and later lead on projects assessing managers. The candidate may have some experience interviewing fund managers but this is not essential.

In this role you will interview some of the most highly respected investment managers in the world helping to form robust views on such areas as investment skill and the ability to meet our clients aims. These views are documented and communicated to clients both directly through facetoface meetings and via access to our comprehensive database.

Requirements:

• Investment experience (fund of funds consulting portfolio management or security analysis) would be useful or wider experience and a genuine interest in investment
• With credit or fixedincome experience
• Experience in research knowledge of different asset classes valuation financial modeling risk assessment good communication skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Should have a strong motivation to work in credit as an asset class
• Effective oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
• Wellorganized and detailoriented
• Flexibility and desire to build relationships with colleagues and clients in order to evolve our offering and service their needs
• Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how ones work fits into the broader landscape
• Progress in CFA or other professional qualifications is an advantage
• Amenable to working in APAC shift
• Amenable to work in a hybrid setup (2x WFH/week)
