Job Summary:

As a Senior Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) you will play a critical role in supporting and driving financial advisory services including mergers and acquisitions capital raising and other strategic advisory services for clients within the financial sector. This position requires a deep understanding of the financial services industry superior analytical abilities and robust client management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to evaluate business opportunities and risks in the financial institutions sector.
  • Prepare detailed client reports and presentations providing insights and recommendations for mergers acquisitions and other financial strategies.
  • Support deal execution from initiation to closure including due diligence document preparation and transaction coordination.
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to develop innovative financial solutions that meet clients strategic goals.
  • Engage directly with clients providing updates and strategic advice on market trends and financial opportunities.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of regulatory changes economic trends and competitive dynamics affecting financial institutions.
  • Participate in and contribute to client meetings and pitch presentations.
  • Mentor and assist in training junior analysts and interns.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards of investment banking.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or related field; Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g. CFA) preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in investment banking specifically within a financial institutions group or related sector.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the financial services industry and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of success in financial analysis and client management.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
