Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst in Debt Capital Markets (DCM) will play a crucial role in the analysis structuring and execution of debt financing solutions for our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of bond markets credit analysis and financial modeling to support the origination and distribution of debt securities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to evaluate debt structures and assess client creditworthiness.
- Support the development and execution of financing strategies for corporate sovereign and structured debt offerings.
- Prepare detailed pitch books market updates and client presentations.
- Collaborate with syndicate desks to manage the distribution and pricing of debt offerings.
- Monitor market trends and provide updates on shifts in investor sentiment and credit market conditions.
- Engage in client meetings and calls to discuss market views deal structures and financing alternatives.
- Assist in the coordination of transaction closings and manage documentation processes.
- Develop relationships with clients investors and other market participants.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field; advanced degree or CFA preferred.
- 15 years of experience in investment banking specifically within Debt Capital Markets or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Indepth understanding of the debt securities market and financial instruments.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong team player with leadership potential.
- Proficiency with financial software tools and databases.
