Job Title: Interior Draftsperson
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detailoriented Interior Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. As an Interior Draftsperson you will play a crucial role in translating conceptual designs into precise technical drawings and plans. Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with interior designers architects and other team members to create accurate and visually appealing drafts for various interior projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Drafting and Documentation:**
Generate detailed interior design drawings plans elevations and sections.
Translate conceptual designs into precise and scaled technical drawings.
Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards in all drafted documents.
2. **Collaboration:**
Work closely with interior designers and architects to understand project requirements.
Participate in team discussions to integrate design concepts into practical workable drafts.
Revise drawings based on feedback from team members and project stakeholders.
3. **Software Proficiency:**
Utilize industrystandard drafting software (AutoCAD SketchUp etc.) proficiently.
Stay updated on advancements in drafting technologies and software tools.
4. **Quality Control:**
Review and verify the accuracy of all drafted documents before submission.
Ensure that drawings comply with relevant codes regulations and standards.
5. **Communication:**
Effectively communicate with team members designers and project stakeholders.
Provide clear and concise explanations of design intent through drafted documents.
6. **Time Management:**
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of drafts in accordance with project timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree or diploma in Interior Design Architecture or related field.
Proven experience as an Interior Draftsperson or similar role.
Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD Excel or google sheet or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with building codes regulations and industry standards.
