On behalf of our clientWe have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Consultant in Material Flow Automation to work with a leading company in battery manufacturing. This role offers you the chance to lead a team that will play a key role in shaping our first gigafactory and producing the worlds most environmentally friendly battery cells.

About the Job:

You will have a unique opportunity to assemble a team of skilled individuals to rapidly implement a highly efficient material flow system in a worldclass gigafactory. Together with your team you will focus on nextgeneration material flow equipment from detailed design and development to installation commissioning and beyond.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Mentoring and supporting engineers through consistent feedback navigating challenges and providing development opportunities to foster technical and professional growth.
  • Leading a team of engineers and coordinating with crossfunctional teams to design implement and optimize material flow equipment and systems that maximize production efficiency reduce costs and enhance product quality.
  • Managing and allocating resources effectively to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of efficiency and quality.
  • Shaping the future of material handling in the battery manufacturing environment by interacting with leading suppliers of material flow and automation solutions in an international setting.
  • Identifying and proactively resolving material flow bottlenecks inefficiencies and production constraints with a datadriven strategy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Industrial/Process/Production/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic or similar).
  • Proven leadership skills in a demanding fastpaced production environment.
  • 5 years of experience in processdriven or discrete process industries such as Automotive FMCG Battery Packaging Metal Semiconductors Fine Chemicals Pharma Food etc.
  • Valuable experience in multicultural environments.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills to address complex technical challenges.
  • Qualities we value include flexibility a sense of quality friendliness motivation to take on new challenges perseverance and a sense of humor.
  • Troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Preferred: Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
