Job Summary:
As an Insurance Eligibility Specialist your mission will be to commit to the practice of delivering awesomeness and making people smile. You will assist customers through the insurance eligibility process of their smile journey. A critical part of this role is to collect accurate customer insurance information to ensure clear coverage expectations can be communicated to our customers. As part of the process you will be the customer s advocate as you interact with insurance companies to verify their insurance eligibility.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for verifications and accurate communications to customers and staff regarding insurance coverage
- Ensures benefits are accurate and considered as part of the customer communication
- Serves as a subject matter expert related to insurance and liaison between sales staff and customers to resolve any concerns and maintain a positive productive working relationship
- Ensures all insurancerelated duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner to ensure excellent customer relations and financial success for the customer and other various operations functions
- Achieves and maintains key performance indicators by effectively managing daily eligibility workload and planning and other various operation functions
- Manages and assists designated sales/support team members with appropriate support regarding insurance processes
- All other duties as required
Requirements
- 12 years of medical or dental insurance experience
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Accuracy and Organization are a must
- Strong capability with MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook)
- Understanding of ticketing systems and support channels including voice email chat text and messenger required.
- Familiarity with Five9 and Salesforce get bonus points.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to putting the team first
- Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
- Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
- Must be able to work from 10PM7AM (Shifting)
- Must be amenable to reporting to our Makati and BGC office as required
