Insurance Domain Consultant – P&C

TCS is looking for an experienced Consultant with deep subject matter expertise in P&C Insurance with experience in Analytics and Cyber Insurance. The Consultant must be proficient in understanding customer needs, provide appropriate guidance, engage in value creating discussions and workshops to ensure relevant solution that meets customers' business objectives. The Consultant will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary and diverse team driving Business Transformation across the Insurance Value Chain for TCS's clients through the levers of Data, Analytics and AI, bringing innovative solutions for our clients to life and making direct impact to our customer's businesses. The Consultant will also work on building domain specific assets/solutions/accelerators addressing white spaces in the Insurance space which could potentially accelerate Customer's transformation journeys.

Responsibilities:

Lead and conduct solutioning workshops to drive a customer decision

Execute consulting engagements including management of key stakeholders

Perform industry research and regulatory updates to aid in solutioning and thought leadership creation.

Proactively engage with executive leadership levels in business / CxO to position TCS solutions and offerings and identify new business opportunities

Participate in industry forums to position TCS' thought leadership

Work collaboratively with geography sales teams to explore new avenues of growth

Key Skills

Good understanding of insurance and reinsurance industry with hands-on consulting experience and analytics solutions. Previous experience working with a Consulting Firm or Consulting wing within IT Services is desirable.

Understanding the full lifecycle of Insurance and specialization in any of LOBs: -

Commercial - Property, Workers Compensation, Auto, Liability, Specialty Lines - Cyber Insurance OR

Personal Auto, Home, Travel, Pet

Demonstratable experience in at least 2 of the following domains: - Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Brokers, Sales & Distribution, Operations.

Research & Innovation mindset, to drive Growth & Transformation for insurer via new business segment/product, personalization, connected insurance, emerging risks etc.

Understanding business & data challenges and analytics/insights as a potential solution for various Line of Business in Commercial Insurance

Specialization in P&C Business Transformation/Innovation (domain focused) to drive an outcome such as improved combined ratio etc.

Modeling/Analytics platforms related to Pricing, Reserving, Financial Modeling, Capital Modeling etc.

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, detail-orientation and self-direction to drive matters to conclusion with strong knowledge of mathematics and statistics.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to articulate and comprehend ideas and solution verbally and on paper
