Job Description

Req ID : 1579156

Envision Strategic Partners works hand-in-hand with family-owned and operated mortuaries to increase revenue with our top-performing Preneed Sales & Marketing Program. As their marketing arm, it is our responsibility to staff and support Funeral Preneed & Aftercare Specialists who continue caring for and supporting families after services have concluded.

In partnership with Voss & Sons: Funeral and Cremation of Sermour, IN, we strive to consistently provide our families with service that exceeds all expectations. While an insurance license IS required before one is able to sell Preneed Funerals, it is NOT required to interview.

Compensation & Benefits:
Envision Strategic Partners has a unique, hands-on style coaching that sets us apart and fosters success. In addition to our personalized management style, there are many emotional, financial, and individual benefits to becoming a part of the Death Care Industry:

  • Licensing reimbursement.
  • Potential for approximately $25K-$30K per year in Bonuses & Incentives paid monthly.
  • Performance-based signing bonus with $1,000 earning potential.
  • Uncapped Commissions.
  • Average first-year earnings for new agents falls between $50K-$80K.
  • Veteran Burial Benefits certification and training.
  • Constant community outreach and advertising courtesy of our in-house marketing team.
  • Zero Cold Calling.
  • Leads provided via mortuary at-need staff and ESP community outreach.
  • Near autonomous control of work-life balance.
  • Personalized marketing materials.
  • Weekly company-wide Zoom Trainings.
  • On-on-One coaching sessions available anytime, upon request.

What are we looking for?
While experience in the funeral industry is preferred, Envision Strategic Partners prides itself on producing some of the industry’s top performing salespeople, despite applicants having little to no prior experience. Regardless of what’s on their resumes, our most illustrious sales agents share a few distinct commonalities:

  • A commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Superb time management skills.
  • Goal-oriented self-starter.
  • Intrinsically motivated.
  • Sincere desire to be of service to others.
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality.
  • Comfortable spending a minimum of 2 hours per day on the phone.
  • Comfortable with the idea of being uncomfortable.
  • Inherent sense of empathy.
  • Sees challenges and obstacles as opportunities.
  • Self-accountability.

Duties & Responsibilities:
As a 1099 employee you are considered an Independent Contractor which means a more autonomous control of your work-life balance. While agents are expected to be on site in the mortuary Monday-Friday, there are opportunities to work remotely on weekends and on an individual basis, as determined by management. In addition, Envision Strategic Partners recognizes that every individual has unique needs, which is why daily, weekly, and monthly goals are predetermined and mutually agreed upon.
An average day for a Funeral Preneed & Aftercare Specialist typically consists of:

  • Tracking and reporting of Daily Productivity.
  • Attendance and participation on weekly Zoom trainings.
  • Maintaining communication with Envision and Mortuary Management.
  • Follow-up with families via phone, text, email, etc. for a minimum 2 hours.
  • Set two future appointments and conduct two presentation appointments.
  • Maintain existing relationships with local senior and community services.
  • Cultivate new relationships by reaching out via email, in-person visits, flyer drop-off, etc.
  • Walk-In/Call-In appointments as needed.
  • Communicate with Funeral Directors concerning individual family needs as necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Life Insurance License (Requirements vary by State)
  • Reliable transportation to and from mortuary/client-family residences as necessary.
  • Clean background report.
  • Access to a laptop/computer for studying and licensing. (Affordable recommendations available)
  • Eligibility to work in the US.
