We are seeking candidates to fill the position of Laboratory Analyst I for our MondayFriday midshift temporarily expected to last approximately 3 months. The role involves executing daily departmental operations by providing laboratory support conducting routine sample analyses operating instrumentation and equipment with a foundational level of proficiency peer reviewing data and offering training when necessary. Additionally the role entails addressing challenges reviewing SOPs interpreting data and making decisions utilizing basic skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree (BA or BS) from a fouryear college or university in a science field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to meet the required competency level.
  • Consistent demonstration of the companys core values.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Perform sample analyses as assigned following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a basic level of proficiency.
  • Set up and maintain instrumentation and equipment as required.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of generated data by adhering to data entry review and validation processes.
  • Meet regulatory and projectspecific requirements including turnaround times.
  • Uphold quality standards by following the quality management system.
  • Assist with laboratory tasks such as glassware cleaning trash removal and workspace maintenance.



Key Responsibilities: Administer bi-weekly payroll including analyzing and inputting data such as garnishments, leave accruals, and deductions. Oversee the recruitment process, collaborating with managers to identify, interview, and onboard qualified candidates. Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed. Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Coordinate meetings to educate employees on benefits and distribute necessary notices. Develop and maintain affirmative action programs and ensure compliance with EEO regulations. Compile and submit OSHA and worker's compensation reports annually. Handle employee relations matters, escalating complex issues to the Senior HR Manager. Conduct stay and exit interviews, maintaining trend data for retention strategies. Manage accurate employee records in HRIS and other databases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in HR Generalist or similar roles, with specific experience in California. Three (3) years of payroll processing experience required. Proficiency with HRIS systems; Kronos experience is advantageous. Intermediate knowledge of California Wage & Hour laws. Familiarity with FMLA regulations and other employment laws. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
