Information Systems Security Engineer

We are currently seeking a MidLevel Information System Security Engineer to join in supporting a critical mission in Annapolis Junction MD. This role is essential in a program that delivers a broad array of capabilities including data management data delivery highintensity cloud architectures and analytic platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and noncompliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.
  

• Provide comprehensive security planning assessment risk analysis and risk management.
  

• Design system or network configurations that support multiple enclaves including those with varying data protection/classification requirements.
  

• Recommend systemlevel solutions to meet security requirements.
  

• Support the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
  

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) on programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity.
  

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Assurance Information Security System Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor s degree.
  

• Compliance with DoD 8570.01M IASAE Level 2.
  

• CISSP Certification is required
