Information Assurance Engineer

Role Summary:

As an Information Assurance Engineer, you'll be a key player in a major training project. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Lead, you'll oversee the specification, design, and implementation of information assurance elements across diverse solutions. This role involves travel between sites, direct customer interaction, and collaboration with subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specify security requirements and assess designs from an information assurance perspective.
• Collaborate with the Design Authority to align business, technical, and assurance requirements.
• Design, coordinate, and oversee security testing procedures, managing issue remediation.
• Act as the point of contact for all system information assurance aspects.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior-level customer and subcontractor engagement.
• Strong understanding of security requirements and ability to decompose them.
• Knowledge of Information Assurance processes and procedures.
• Experience in monitoring and auditing subcontractors' systems.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within the UK.

Desirable:

• Experience working with MOD or similar agencies.
• Knowledge/experience of Cryptography and Anti-Tamper.
• Participation in bid teams.
