Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to gather design requirements and project objectives
• Conducting market research and trend analysis to identify consumer needs and preferences
• Developing sketches renderings and 3D models to visualize design concepts
• Utilizing CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing
• Prototyping and testing designs to evaluate functionality durability and aesthetics
• Refining designs based on feedback from stakeholders usability testing and costeffectiveness
• Participating in design reviews and presenting concepts to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and quality production
• Staying updated on industry trends materials and manufacturing processes
• Adhering to project timelines budgets and regulatory requirements
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards
• Supporting the marketing and sales teams with product visuals and promotional materials
• Seeking opportunities for innovation and patentable design solutions
• Mentoring junior designers and providing constructive feedback

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design Product Design or related field
• Demonstrated experience in designing and launching consumer or industrial products
• Proficiency in utilizing CAD software for 3D modeling and technical drawings (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes materials and engineering principles
• Portfolio showcasing a range of product designs from ideation to production stage
• Ability to communicate and present design concepts effectively to diverse audiences
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to incorporate feedback into design iterations
• Knowledge of ergonomic principles usercentered design and design thinking methodologies
• Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and testing methodologies
• Understanding of intellectual property patenting processes and design protection
• Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of design for sustainability and environmental considerations
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices
