First established in 2010 Citymax Hotels currently own and operate 6 hotels (1986 keys) in the UAE at Al Barsha (2 hotels) Bur Dubai Sharjah Business Bay and Ras al Khaimah. In addition Citymax Hotels operates a hotel under a management contract in Aswan Egypt (79 keys) with further managed properties under development in Egypt and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In addition to the rooms business Citymax Hotels has a significant Food & Beverage operation within the hotels with up to almost 50% of revenues coming from the various outlets. Qualifications

Job Purpose

Primary responsibility of the role is to analyze the financial reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Key Accountabilities

Review and verify Night Auditors logbook daily revenue report and daily Food & Beverage report with supporting vouchers and trial balance
Distribute daily reports after obtaining Director of Finance / Financial Controllers approval
Review rage variance report in order to ensure the correct rate is applied
Review the city ledger and credit card transfers of the day and pass the same to the Accounts Receivable
Audit the daily cash summary and update General Cashiers report
Review overages and shortages of Cashiers and take appropriate action and review Front Office foreign exchange rates as and when required
Conduct float counting of all house fund holders on a weekly basis and prepare a monthly float count summary.
Conducts regular audits and suggests methods of reducing waste.
