ICU Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

• We are offering $10000.00 hiring bonus with a twoyear commitment.
• Ready to work in D/N rotating 12 hour shifts available.
• Must have current NYS unrestricted License to practice professional nursing.
• 1 year of ICU Experience required.

Responsibility:

• The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory technical and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care to patients and families.
• The Registered Professional Nurse assesses patient need develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team provides direct care evaluates patient progress and coordinates the care delivery throughout the patients episode.
• The Registered Nurse in Intensive Care develops specialized skill to care for critically ill unstable patients.
• The ICU RN develops a strong working knowledge of life support machines cardiac monitoring systems and other life preserving medical equipment and nursing interventions essential for a critical care nurse.
• The ICU RN is accountable for patient family education to assist the patient and family in understanding selfcare beyond hospitalization including lifestyle changes to support health and healing.
• The ICU Registered Nurse is expected to promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment.
