Hydraulic Industrial Technician

ApexHire is working with a client in the Cedar Rapids IA area that is looking to add a Hydraulic Equipment Technician to their team this is a fulltime permanent opportunity paying $21.00 $26.00 hourly.

Summary

The preferred candidate for this role should demonstrate a robust technical and mechanical aptitude facilitating rapid acquisition of practical expertise in hydraulic components. Proficiency in communication is essential. Additionally willingness to engage in local travel for onsite service is preferred.

Equipment Construction:

• Build industrial and mobile hydraulic equipment using skills in plumbing tube bending pipe fitting welding fabrication and wiring of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  

Cylinder Maintenance:

• Perform teardown evaluation and rebuilding of hydraulic cylinders.
  

Requirements Knowledge And Experience

Technical and Mechanical Aptitude:

• Strong technical and mechanical skills with the ability to quickly learn handson knowledge of hydraulic components.
  
• Outstanding communication skills.
  
• Optional local travel for onsite service with additional compensation (not mandatory).
  
• Personal hand tools are required.
  
• Monthly tool allowance provided to assist with tool investment.
  
• Tool advance options can be discussed.
