HVAC Technician

Northwest Talent Solutions is currently partnering with a preferred client to fill HVAC (Diesel) Technician positions in the greater Baltimore MD area. Candidates selected for this position will have the following background/ experience:

1. Commercial HVAC (chillers boilers air handlers AC units)

2. Industry experience either in field services oil and gas construction

3. Safety driven technician

4. Diesel technician with experience with Cummins Caterpillar Detroit Freightliner or Volvo engines.

What youll do:

Youll be based out of our Baltimore MD service center.

Youll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends and there is a potential for travel.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.

Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.

You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.

Were experts which means youll have the following skills and experience:

High School diploma/GED

25 years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment performing inspections maintenance and repairs.

Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements along with reading and knowing schematics.

Based on the customer requirements you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card

Valid drivers license

Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50 lbs.
