Job Title: HVAC Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial refrigeration and chillers coupled with a robust understanding of electrical systems and the ability to interpret schematics. With at least 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting maintenance and repair of HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance inspection troubleshooting and repair of commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to refrigeration and chillers.

• Utilize strong electrical knowledge to diagnose and address electrical issues within HVAC systems.

• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities effectively.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.

• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and maintain organized records.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or education in HVAC preferred.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC with a focus on refrigeration and chillers.

• Strong electrical background with the ability to read and interpret schematics.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
