InfraHire is looking for an HVAC Service Manager in Macon GA.
Job Description:
The main duty of this position is to ensure that service projects maintenance agreements and system repairs are completed with high quality within the specified timeframe and within budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and foster the growth of the staff encompassing recruitment termination and disciplinary actions scheduling task prioritization leading staff meetings offering guidance appraising performance and delegating duties to optimize resource utilization and client contentment.
- Evaluate technicians proficiencies to allocate suitable tasks and pinpoint areas for skill enhancement and training requirements.
- Collaborate in devising training programs and operational protocols.
- Spot prospects for team enhancement devise strategies to attain customer satisfaction and sales targets and provide mentoring as needed.
- Compile departmental operational reports and maintain records of inventory tools and vehicles subsequently discussing these reports with management.
- Provide guidance to technicians regarding the correct utilization of materials and adherence to quality work standards.
- Review payroll documentation to guarantee accurate technician compensation. Confirm continuous training initiatives for technicians.
- Take full financial accountability for designated departmental activities. Ensure the achievement of company objectives on a monthly basis.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for the assigned team.
- Enforce adherence to all processes and procedures.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process enhancements.
- Possibly participate in the onboarding of new team members or customers.
- Ensure that employees are equipped with the appropriate tools for their tasks and that these tools are adequately maintained.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance of vehicles to uphold their proper functionality.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license
- Must be comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Minimum 57 years management experience or field experience with supervisory responsibilities
- Active EPA certificate
