The HVAC BIM Modeller will be responsible for creating detailed Building Information Models (BIM) for Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role involves collaborating with design and engineering teams to produce accurate and efficient 3D models that facilitate the planning and implementation of HVAC projects. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in BIM software a strong understanding of HVAC systems and attention to detail.
1. Generate 3D BIM models of HVAC systems using specialized software (e.g. Revit AutoCAD MICROSTATION E3D).
2. Collaborate with HVAC engineers architects and other stakeholders to incorporate design specifications into BIM models.
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of BIM models considering spatial requirements system components and construction constraints.
4. Review and interpret design drawings specifications and other project documentation.
5. Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical plumbing etc.) to integrate HVAC systems into comprehensive building models.
6. Assist in clash detection and resolution to identify and address conflicts in the BIM environment.
7. Stay informed about industry standards best practices and emerging technologies related to BIM in HVAC.
8. Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones.
Requirements:
1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. 4 to 8 years experience as a BIM Modeller with a focus on HVAC systems.
3. Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit AutoCAD MICROSTATION E3D or similar tools.
4. Strong understanding of HVAC design principles components and systems.
5. Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and highquality BIM models.
6. Effective communication skills for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
7. Knowledge of construction processes and coordination within the BIM environment.
8. Familiarity with industry standards codes and regulations related to HVAC systems in BIM.
