Tasks

To join our Human Resources Team, we are looking for you based in Leicester (UK) in part-time or full-time as

Human Resources Manager

As Human Resources Generalist at IDEX Optical Technologies you will support and contribute to the provision of the HR function of our international group, progressively driving people management initiatives to make the business more successful through its people.

YOUR TASKS

  • Provide an excellent, customer focused HR service, building teamwork and creating added value by continuing to develop best in class HR systems and processes.
  • Responsible for administering, updating and following employment polices and procedures to ensure site compliance with local and global regulations.
  • Support talent programs, proactively driving employee development initiatives.
  • Help develop and deliver programs that will attract, engage and retain the very best talent in the business.
  • Support and help drive a progressive employee relations culture.
  • Provide expert generalist advice and employment law advice to line managers on all Human Resource issues.
  • Manage employee relations activities.
  • Support and participate in all recruitment for the business by using inclusive recruitment processes, encouraging DEI at all stages of the process.
  • Encourage, publicize and support the use of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Manage the delivery of necessary training activities.
  • Coordinate annual employee engagement and support managers in order to increase employee engagement across the site.

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Human Resources or business-related qualification.
  • Profound generalist human resource work experience preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • CIPD qualification is a plus.
  • Good business acumen gained in Human Resources function.
  • Proven knowledge and application of UK employment law.
  • Good experience in handling employee relations matters.
  • Experience in designing and delivering employee development and training initiatives or programs is a plus.
  • Hands-on, can-do personality with a proactive approach.
