Primary Mission for HR Manager:

The primary mission for the HR Manager in this scenario is to oversee and manage all facets of HR operations within the smallscale plant environment. With a compact team of 60 employees and established corporate policies in place the focus will be on handson daily HR management. This encompasses critical areas such as talent management ensuring the effective performance appraisal and evaluation processes and handling HR costing and budgeting efficiently. While the recruitment responsibilities are limited the role demands a comprehensive grasp of HR functions leveraging these to foster a thriving and productive work environment within the plant. The HR Managers pivotal responsibility is to drive seamless HR operations optimizing talent utilization and fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency within the given framework.

Specific Duties:

  1. Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing concerns and conflicts serving as a trusted advisor on HR policies.
  2. HR Policy Implementation: Implement and standardize HR policies in line with corporate guidelines for consistent application.
  3. Cost Control and Reporting: Manage HR budgets offering insights for costeffective strategies and reporting regularly.
  4. Recruitment and Onboarding: Handle localized recruitment needs and leverage regional industrial knowledge for effective onboarding.
  5. Flexibility and Communication: Adaptability to a global team displaying strong communication skills and thriving in a startup setting.
  6. HR Business Partnering: Collaborate with the General Manager aligning HR strategies with business goals and supporting hiring plans.
  7. Team Collaboration: Encourage teamwork actively listen to employee concerns and address them promptly.
  8. Ethical Practices: Uphold ethical standards and maintain transparent communication with the GM and Corporate for issue resolution.
  9. Company Values Implementation: Translate and implement company values and mission within the local organization ensuring alignment with corporate culture and goals.

Qualifications for HR Manager:

  1. Experience: 710 years in core HR functions encompassing employee relations policy implementation budgeting and recruitment ideally in machinery manufacturing.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with local machinery environments adapting HR strategies effectively.
  3. Manufacturing Expertise: Proven success in HR within manufacturing preferably in multinational European companies understanding industry complexities.
  4. Flexibility: Adaptable to early interactions with headquarters excelling in a startup environment.
  5. Positive Energy: Driven by career growth dedicated to onsite presence and solutionoriented.
