This is an onsite position. No remote. No hybrid.

Situational flexibility to work offsite will absolutely be provided when needed.

Relocation package will be given.

Position:

  • Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager for their 1100person manufacturing plant located in Marion Arkansas.
  • This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and will have supervisory accountabilities for 5 direct reports.
  • This position will also work closely with their Plant Manager.
  • This position is responsible for supporting employees and managers implementing HR policies and procedures leading the employee relations team and making recommendations that promote a positive work environment.

Must Have:

  • Significant direct experience for 3 years in automotive manufacturing or 5 years in heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Human Resource Management or a comparable discipline.
  • Experience with multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations diversity performance management training and development and federal and state employment laws.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word Excel and PowerPoint

NicetoHave

  • PHR Certification
  • Experience in Automotive Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures for a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Lead employee relations counseling for the manufacturing team.
  • Participate in management meetings.
  • Evaluate reports decisions and results of departments to meet organizational goals.
  • Recommend new approaches policies and procedures to effect continual departmental improvements efficiencies and services performed.
