We have an opportunity for a HSE Site Leader to join our team in Chorz w. HSE Site Leader will be responsible for providing technical advice and support with respect to matters impacting occupational safety, health and environment for the Chorzow facilities.

Tasks

  • Develops, recommends and implements practical, functional approaches to resolve safety, health and environmental issues in support of location strategies for achieving customer satisfaction and regulatory/policy compliance.
  • Delivers safety, health and environment training on required regulatory, corporate and site-specific topics.
  • Utilizes six-sigma tools and behavior-based safety strategies to guide injury prevention efforts.
  • Reviews new chemicals from a safety and health perspective and ensure appropriate controls are established prior to introduction into the workplace.
  • Performs solid risk assessments and drives this culture by coaching and training all employees on-site on this
  • Performs the periodic reporting of HSE metrics as expected by local & Honeywell requirements.
  • Attends the Safety committee and drives under Site Leader s responsibility the corrective actions issued by this committee.

Requirements

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelors Degree in safety engineering/management, environmental, industrial hygiene or related science.
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
  • Strong experience demonstrated in health, safety and environmental disciplines.
  • Knowledge of Polish HSE Regulations, Crisis & Emergency Response Management, HSE Management system (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • International corporate environment experience.
  • Communicative English skills in spoken and written.
