As the face of our Netherlands office, located in Amsterdam, we are looking for a full-time (1.0 FTE) HR & Office Manager who will be the go-to person for our local operations. Our office manager will report to our Country Manager, while closely collaborating with HR, Finance and Operations departments. We support a hybrid work arrangement for this role, while office presence is important, we allow and support remote work as needed.

HR
Serving as the local Human Resources (HR) representative for all Netherlands-based employees. Building relationships, answering questions/concerns, and escalating any employee matters.
Continuously assessing the success of HR programs, policies, and procedures, proposing improvements when
applicable. Updating policy documents and handbook, accordingly.
Responsible for and ensuring processes and compliancy to local HR issues such as pension, payrolling, recruitment, special leave and local legislation and compliancy. You ll work in close collaboration with the Sr. HR Director, next to external partners and authorities.
Keeping up to date with local market standards and laws to ensure local HR operations are compliant and
satisfactory.
Data entry and integrity for personnel files, employee contracts and payroll processing
Managing full cycle recruitment including posting of jobs, sourcing candidates, interviewing and
coordination of stakeholder activities.
Onboarding and offboarding of employees.
Participating in the company s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
HR reporting, as needed.
Finance and Payroll
Working with corporate Finance department and outsourced accounting firm to maintain financial compliance of the Netherlands office operations.
Coordination of timely payroll processing
Coordinating the approval process of accounts payable within the organization
Managing the employee reimbursement process
Supplying information on invoices and expenses
Assisting in the local accounts receivable process.
Office Management
Ensuring the office environment is clean, neat, and professional
Ordering supplies
Welcoming office visitors
Handling incoming and outgoing communications (phone, e-mail, mail).
Organizing events and travel arrangements
Other
Fulfilling legal obligations related to Chamber of Commerce, CBS survey, declaration of payment behavior by the Tax Authorities, filing of General Terms and Conditions etc.
Maintaining contact with landlord and suppliers.
Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Requirements
Bachelor degree in a related field
5+ years experience in HR, Recruitment, office management or operations management
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (written and oral)
Excellent organization and planning skills
General knowledge with local laws and regulations
Growth mindset who continuously read, learn, and evolve
Detail orientation
Bonus points
Experience in global organizations
Experience with remote colleague collaboration via remote technology (Zoom, Slack, etc)
Experience in high growth environments GDPR knowledge
