At Distra Labs you will work with a crossfunctional team building a modern social media management platform. We are a Londonbased startup looking to establish our first remote team of developers and content creators to join us from India ideally Bangalore or Kolkata. We welcome others to apply as well if you are happy to relocate.


The Role we are currently looking for a passionate person to join as HR Manager in recruitment and HR Generalist functions and can be available full time. The learning opportunities are as listed below:

  • Full experience in talent acquisition process
  • Recruitment skills from onjob learning
  • Knowledge of HR models and service delivery model.
  • Global learning engagement and network resources
  • Get familiar with HRrelated laws and regulations
  • On job learning of project management

Are you

This role is for you if you can work autonomously see the bigger picture and are a natural leader. You should be good at both verbal and written communication skills. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident with presentations. You must be a Microsoft Office ninja or looking to be one. You understand or should be eager to learn the basics of accounting and human resources. You will be responsible for hiring and onboarding resources and contractors. You must manage quotes processes contracts and other formalities required for successfully running office administration. You will need field trips to colleges universities and other professional institutions for hiring and attracting talent. This is a complete office based role and you need to be open to traveling.


Qualifications

  • Must have completed graduation preferably in the human resources management or business field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability communicate effectively and build strong relationships in a multicultural cross functional organisation.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience of Canva(desirable not essential)

    You will be required to do perform administrative tasks and provide Executive Assistant to founders required for the organisation at an early stage and for organic growth.
It is highly desirable:
  • if you are skilled in recruitment and specially in Linkedin organic job boards and career sites.
  • Prior Experience with recruitment at a startup or scaleup
  • Have worked as an EA
