Our client is a prestigious global logistics firm part of one of the biggest major South Korean conglomerate corporations. Currently they are expanding their operations in Budapest and are seeking an HR Manager to oversee the development of their human resources department in this new phase.



Description:

The HR Manager will be responsible for formulating and executing HR strategies that are in line with the companys overall business objectives. This role is critical for the successful expansion of the companys operations in Hungary particularly in managing the growth of the employee base from 30 to 80.


Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Setup and implement implement HR initiatives including recruitment (you wont need to deal with it only overview it) performance management payroll and employee relations.
  • Manage the employee compensation development and benefits program.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Establish and streamline HR processes and systems for the new entity.
  • Supervise a team of three HR professionals delegating responsibilities across various HR functions.
  • Coordinate with other company sites in the North Western Hungary region for HR alignment (sporadic visits).


Requirements:

  • At least 810 years of experience in HR with expertise collected across Payroll HR Generalist roles and HRBP.
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian labor laws and HR practices.
  • Experience in establishing HR departments and systems.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Hungarian.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
