Overview

The HR Intern position plays a vital role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks and gaining handson experience in human resources functions. This role is essential in contributing to the successful implementation of HR initiatives and maintaining employee satisfaction within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process through job postings screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
  • Participate in employee relations activities including preparing documentation and handling inquiries.
  • Support the maintenance and update of the HRIS database with employee information and changes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training and onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Provide administrative support such as preparing reports and organizing HRrelated documents.
  • Participate in HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with labor regulations and HR best practices.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Conduct research on HR trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Understanding of HR principles and practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience is advantageous.
