Overview:

The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organizations human resources processes. They are responsible for a wide range of HR functions from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. This role is integral to maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the endtoend recruitment process including job postings screening and interviewing.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding including orientation and training programs.
  • Handle employee relations matters such as conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records using HRIS.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Administer employee benefit programs and address related inquiries.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluation and feedback sessions.
  • Coordinate employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of HR training and development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Proven experience working as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR software systems.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
  • HR certification such as SHRMCP or PHR is a plus.
