Job Title: HR Generalist (6Month Contract) Taiwan

Location: Taiwan

Employment Type: 6Month Contract (PARTTIME)

About Us: Our client is a dynamic and innovative logistics company committed to high standards in the transportation industry. As they expand their operations in Taiwan they are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a 6month contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to their HR initiatives and gain valuable experience in a fastpaced environment.

Position Overview: The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to their Taiwan office. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver HR services policies and programs that meet the needs of our employees and support the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Coordinate the recruitment process including job postings candidate screening and interview scheduling.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  3. HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation including personnel files contracts and employee databases.
    • Process payroll and manage employee benefits administration in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  4. Performance Management:
    • Support the performance management process including goalsetting performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
    • Assist in identifying training and development needs and coordinating training programs as necessary.
  5. Compliance and Policies:
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in Taiwan.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to local requirements.
  6. Employee Engagement:
    • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and activities to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Organize teambuilding events recognition programs and other initiatives to enhance employee morale and motivation.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role preferably in Taiwan.
  3. Sound knowledge of Taiwan labor laws regulations and HR best practices.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  7. Fluency in Mandarin and English both written and spoken.
