We are searching for an experienced HR Business Partner Benefits and LOA Administration at our Headquarters facility.
Description
The position is responsible for directing and planning the daytoday operations of group benefits programs (group health dental vision shortterm and longterm disability life insurance travel and accident plan flexible spending plan Leaves of Absence and Wellness). This position also provides excellent customer service and quality benefits plans investigates new benefits programs improves existing programs and supervises and monitors benefits administration as well as designs employee benefits plans and provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefits programs.
Serves as primary contact for plan vendors and thirdparty administrators. Determines the best plan options by working with the thirdparty administrators. Coordinates transfer of data to external contacts for services premiums and plan administration. Works effectively to make sure the plans run smoothly. Investigates discrepancies and provides information in nonroutine situations. Ensures compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensures timeliness and accuracy of required filings.
Develops and maintains online Outlook Notes forms (e.g. HR status change form HR action form retirement quotations).
Provides customer service support to internal and external customers. Designs and distributes materials for orientations and summary plan descriptions. Creates and conducts presentations using audiovisual tools including Powerpoint and videos. Provides training and support to management and employees and the field staff.
Required Qualifications
This position requires a high level of independent thinking problem solving and requires decisions to be made daily that will keep the company in compliance with federal and state laws and protect the company from unnecessary litigation.
It also requires decisions to be made that will maintain a workforce that is motivated productive maintain high retention levels and free from union organization.
Bachelors degree in HR or a related field required.
