Overview:

The HR Assistant & Manager plays a crucial role in the organizations human resources department responsible for assisting with the daytoday operations while effectively managing and overseeing HRrelated functions. This position is integral in ensuring compliance with employment laws supporting employee relations and contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Oversee HRIS data entry maintenance and reporting.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and address employee inquiries.
  • Handle employee relations matters and conduct investigations when required.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate performance management processes and facilitate training and development initiatives.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage the organizations employee recognition and engagement programs.
  • Assist in analyzing HR metrics and preparing reports for management.
  • Contribute to organizational culture and diversity initiatives.
  • Handle daytoday HR administrative tasks and maintain employee records.
  • Assist in conducting salary surveys and benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with management on HRrelated projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover data.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in HR roles with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HRrelated software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Certification in HR (e.g. SHRMCP PHR) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of training and development principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRrelated software.
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic work environment.
