Hotel Banquet Manager

Hospitality Spotlight is looking for a Hotel Banquet Manager for a luxury hotel in southern California.

The Work:

• Leads by example at all levels of execution
  

• Manage banquets from beginning to end of an upscale fullservice property
  

• Hire train manage and schedule banquet team members
  

• Work with F&B Director Catering Manager and other team members to prepare and maintain banquet and catering budget
  

• Additional responsibilities are required.
  

What youve already done (requirements):

• Minimum of 5 years of Hotel Banquet Management experience with a highend/luxury hotel
  

• Thinks critically and objectively; has excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on business demands.
  

• Understands and interprets hotel financial reports; generates and analyzes budgets and labor reports.
  

• Has a passion for hospitality demonstrated by a progressive hotel career.
  

• Working knowledge and passion for wine spirits and cocktail trends
  

• Previous experience working with both brand and independent/boutique hotel banquets preferred
  

• Strong Can Do attitude
  

• Luxury/highend hotel experience required
  

• Degree in hospitality/F&B preferred
  

• Must possess a track record of successful leadership and can teach and mentor the team
  

• Developed interpersonal adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills
  

• Team player and analytical with the ability to multitask
  

• Excellence in business ethics and integrity
  

Compensation:

• Yearly salary base range of $65k $75k
  

• Bonus potential
