Hot Cold Service Technician

Schedule: The exact hours vary by market typically from 7:00am4:00pm. There are rotational oncall duties and occasional overnight travel may be necessary depending on the market.

Experience Required:
Our client is seeking candidates with 35 years of technical experience specializing in refrigeration appliance repair kitchen equipment and Commercial HVAC service. Certifications such as EPA Universal (or EPA I & II) and/or CFESA are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and repair of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspection of the commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.
• Communication with customers and branch staff regarding the status of repairs to maintain schedules and properly communicate any delays.
• Completion of service tickets according to procedures.
• Maintenance of truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
• Sustainment of service vehicle tools and uniforms to company standards.
• Setting a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by advocating for the company.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures especially regarding safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• 35 years of related experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Basic computer skills
• Ownership of industrystandard hand tools
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region
• Ability to work some nights weekends and holidays for oncall rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size)
• Mechanical inclination with a desire to learn new techniques and approaches.
• Universal EPA certification preferred.
